PageRank

Google’s original algorithm for ranking pages by the number and quality of links pointing to them, named after co-founder Larry Page.

Google still uses evolved versions of PageRank internally, but it stopped publishing PageRank scores in 2016. Open PageRank is an independent score calculated from Common Crawl data.

Our Domain Authority Checker uses Open PageRank as one of its signals.
